Australian Ethical Investment Trust winner drawn

Cheeky Transport kindly hosted the drawing of the Bicycle Film Festival survey competition.

With a $1000 investment in an Australian Ethical Investment trust up for grabs, excitement was high as Dave drew the winner from the 300 + entries.

A big congratulations to Hal from Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. And a big thank you to everyone who entered, your feedback about the Bicycle Film Festival has been fantastic. And a final grateful thanks to Australian Ethical Investment and Cheeky Transport for their support.

City Rangers now on bikes

The City of Sydney once again are making cycling more the mainstream, this time with Park Rangers.

Rangers in Sydney Park, St PetersCity of Sydney Rangers have added bicycle patrols to their already fleet-footed service around the CBD and across the Local Government Area.

Teams of two are now two-wheeling in Sydney and Bicentennial Parks, and along the Glebe foreshore to provide directions, combat littering and vandalism and provide education and enforcement on Council’s Companion Animals Policy.

The Rangers, who are kitted-out in special uniforms, have been trained at the same facility used by police cyclists.

“Our Rangers really are the frontline of the City’s engagement with our community. They provide many services on a daily basis that often go unnoticed and undervalued,” said City of Sydney CEO Monica Barone
