NRMA attack cycleway spending in SMH

In the SMH this week the NRMA (SMH link) and their president Alan Evans showed their ignorance and bias when it came to cycling. The link is above if you want to read the article. But straight away after, the Cycling Promotion Fund released their Media release on the article and The Greens released their media release. Apparently BNSW have released one but no one has seen it.

Today in the SMH they had a back up news (The second SMH article) report this time quoting BikeSydney (Fiona Campbell) and also there was a piece from Lord mayor Clover Moore (Clover’s Article). In the letters page of the SMH their was 7 pro cycling letters (SMH Letters). Keep the letters coming and also send a few to Alan Evens (alan.evans@mynrma.com.au), maybe he should get out of his car and jump on a bike. And I just found another article in the SMH Editorial named “On your bike in the Big City”. One of the City of Sydney Councillors (Shayne Mallard) got his letter published in th eSMH as well and you can read about it on his blog.
