Saturday 11 September: Biker Fox – screening
The Factory Theatre, 105 Victoria Road, Marrickville
8-9:30 pm

The Sydney Underground Film Festival is showing Biker Fox – the story of Oklahoma’s eccentric answer to both Evel Knievel and Jack La Lane. Biker Fox (Frank P. DeLarzelere III), an accidental advocate for bicyclists and their rights, is a nature conservationist, health food activist, and muscle car guru with ADHD who has an unforgettable and self-destructive penchant for hand feeding wild raccoons and other animals.

In a bold move, director Jeremy Lamberton hands the camera over to his subject, allowing Biker Fox/Frank the freedom to capture himself through his own lens, sharing his obsessions with car parts and bicycle tricks, feeding and nurturing wild animals (despite its danger), and capturing thrilling footage of his roaming cycling trips throughout rural Oklahoma.

Biker Fox is a tribute to the struggles of a true American eccentric outsider.
