Our state based advocacy organisation is Bicycle NSW.
National advocacy is provided by the Cycling Promotion Fund, the Amy Gillett Foundation and the Bicycle Federation of Australia.
Making and fixing bikes
Bike Club/Cycle ReCycle aka The Nunnery
Bike Club collects abandoned bikes and parts to create working bikes for the community. Rock along and learn how to fix bikes, teach others how to fix bikes, fix your bike or a friend’s, or just join them for a cuppa and a chat. Everyone is welcome!

Road Cycling Clubs in City of Sydney
Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club
Located in Sydney’s inner west DHBC welcomes new and experienced riders. They promote road and track cycling and encourage all levels to participate in recreational and competition cycling. The club trains at the Tempe velodrome.
Sydney Cycling Club
The Sydney Cycling Club welcomes road cyclists with racing and bunch experience, and a limited number of newer or novice riders as members each year.
Sydney Uni Velo Club
The Sydney University Velo Club (SUVelo) was born of a vision to provide cyclists in Sydney with a club that values fitness, performance and development through goal oriented training all within an inclusive and supportive environment.

Sydney Bicycling Meetup Group
The Sydney Bicycling Meetup Group runs social rides all over Sydney. They often run rides in the city and generally cater for people with intermediate skills (though beginners are welcome).
