Cargo Bike Library racks up 2,000 km
This week the Watershed Bike Library hit its first 150 days of operation.
We love stats and we thought we’d share the numbers with you – they’re pretty impressive for such a small library.
On average, the library had two bikes out on loan on any given day.
The 77 members have taken out the bikes 131 times and ridden nearly 2000km – that’s the equivalent of riding from Sydney to Coober Pedy in central South Australia or Sydney to Towsnville in northern Queensland.
The stats by bike
Bike | Total km ridden | Number loans | Days on loan |
Gazelle Cabby | 713 | 43 | 94 |
Xtracycle | 461 | 33 | 47 |
Merida | 442 | 29 | 82 |
Kiddy trailer: | 238 | 14 | 43 |
Utility trailer | 124 | 12 | 36 |
