The NSW Government has released its final NSW Long Term Transport Master Plan.

The Master Plan clearly calls for enhanced provision for cycling.  (There are 155 instances of the the word “cycling” [there were 28 in the draft Master Plan], and 32 [previously 7] of the word “bicycle[s]”.)  The Masterplan expresses a clear intention to improve opportunities for cycling and walking.  The Master Plan’s commitment to action around cycling projects is outlined in Section 9.7 (copied below).
